This product will present variations in thickness and texture. The edges of these tiles have no bevel, which is an intentional feature added to provoke an antiqued look and accentuate the beauty of the tile. These variations give the product unique characteristics and personality. They are part of its charm and are reminiscent of hydraulic cement (encaustic) tiles, zellige, and reclaimed tiles from the past. We recommend using a grout color which matches or is slightly darker than the tile color for the most elegant appearance or a neutral grey for a more rustic appearance.
